Overnight Oats {Breakfast}


I had one of my CLIENTS (so crazy!!!!) as about my Overnight Oats and I thought it was best to write a blog post because there is SO much to share with oats!  When I make them I generally prep them for the week.  The basis of my Overnight Oats are:

1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Oats

2 T Chia Seeds &

1/2 Almond Milk (might need a little more)

Toppings/Flavors: Peanut Butter, Fruit (banana, apple, blueberries, strawberries), greek yogurt, Unsweetened Coconut, Almonds, Pecans, Honey, Quest Bars broken into chunks.

I put out 4 or 5 Jars and I add 1/3-1/2 Cup of Old Fashioned Oats to each jar. Add toppings of choosing into each jar.  My “go-to” is 1 Heaping T of Peanut Butter, 2 T of Unsweetened Coconut & a Handful of Almonds. After I add in all my ingredients of choice I add my milk, shake, shake, shake & pop it in the refrigerator.  Let it sit overnight.  This will allow for the Chia Seeds to expand.

I pop mine in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute.
