Oatmeal Mug Cake

Oatmeal MugThis is a type of oatmeal that I make during the winter when I am in a hurry.  It is a quick (1-2 minutes) in the microwave and warm for a cold winter/fall morning.

Depends on the size of your mug of course.  I will put a variation for small-big mugs.

Mix all the ingredients together in the mug.  Make sure you fruit is spread around your cup.

Pop into the microwave for 45 seconds-2 minutes.  Again, this depends on the size of your mug.  If your mug looks like it going to overflow… Open the microwave, let it rest a few seconds and start cooking again!!!

  • 1/4-1/2 Cup Oats
  • 1 Egg
  • Honey (for sweetness, I do not use any, but you could)
  • Splash of Vanilla
  • Splash of Milk-1/4 Cup (I prefer Unsweetened Almond Milk)
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Berries or a banana (I’ve even used frozen berries before!)
